Description

Build a control unit on transformer level 6 that manages the energy flow for "his" section. With input data like "real time" / actual feed in and load profile, day ahead prices and pv production forecast the control L6 send data to the interested EMS that will help to manage charge / discharge batteries storage systems (behind the meter), handle shiftable loads and optional managing reactive current. Or in short terms to manage and use the flexibility in this section. This will help to solve a part of the actual and future problems and show how it could be done. With this challenge you can ensure more system stability.

Impact

Day ahead price is not the situation on a local layer 7 section. Also Day ahead prices impuls alone will cause that drain batteries or load usage of the managed systems will all start and end at the same time and will cause the next system stability issue
