a) When Visiting the Website

You can use our website without registering. However, our hosting provider DigitalOcean automatically collects server log data (e.g., IP address, access time, browser type). These data are used solely for the operation and security of the website.

Note: Our website is hosted by DigitalOcean. We use a data center location within the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). DigitalOcean processes data in accordance with applicable data protection regulations and provides appropriate safeguards, including the use of standard contractual clauses if required.

b) User Registration

To access certain features (e.g., ticket purchase), you may create an account. The following information is stored:

  • Username
  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Password (encrypted)
  • Optional: GitHub username, company name, job title

c) Ticket Purchase

When purchasing a ticket, we collect:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Billing address including country

Payments are processed by Stripe, which may involve transfers of personal data to servers in the United States. Stripe adheres to applicable data protection standards.

d) Email Communication

Emails sent to us (e.g., via info@edih.ch) are processed by our email service provider Hostpoint AG, Neue Jonastrasse 60, 8640 Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland. Hostpoint stores and transmits data on our behalf in compliance with Swiss and EU data protection standards.

3. Use of Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies, such as session cookies provided by the CMS Craft Pro and Craft Commerce. We do not use analytics or tracking cookies. A cookie consent banner is currently not required.

a) YouTube
